The 7’×16’×4′ Gooseneck from Texas Pride runs a 16,000 lb GVWR on dual 8,000 lb quick-lube axles with 14-ply radials, and the gooseneck coupler is rated to 25,000 lbs—hitched over the axle for the stability that matters when you’re hauling loaded every day. With a 10,375 lb payload and a 4-stage telescopic lift, it dumps steeper, sheds sticky loads cleaner, and draws less battery than a dual-cylinder setup.
The manager’s discount doesn’t strip the build down. The frame is 8″×2″ heavy-wall rectangular tubing in 1/4″ steel, hung off a 10″, 15.3 lb/ft structural channel gooseneck, with dual 12,000 lb spring-loaded drop-leg jacks and a full-width lockable toolbox up front. The bed runs 16′ long with 48″ flared sides—82″ at the floor, 94″ up top—over a one-piece 3/16″ (7-gauge) solid steel floor that’s 50% thicker than standard. The deluxe manual tarp system, 6′ heavy-duty equipment ramps, and a mounted 14-ply spare are all on this build, along with swing-out barn doors with cam lock, stake pockets, and four D-rings.
Power comes standard: a Group 24 deep cycle marine battery, an onboard 110V charger with trickle charge through the 7-way plug, a KTI electric-over-hydraulic pump with power up / gravity down, and a 15′ corded remote.
