Entry Level Day Shift $18.00 an hour Entry Level Night Shift $20.00 an hour 12 hour shifts 5am-5pm / 5pm-5am

Texas Pride Trailers is seeking a detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to help prepare trailers and components for our paint department. This position plays a critical role in ensuring every trailer leaves our facility looking its best.
What You’ll Do
The Paint Prep Technician is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, sanding, and preparing trailer components before they enter the paint process.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect trailers and components before paint preparation
  • Verify parts, tires, ramps, and trailer specifications against production paperwork
  • Clean, sand, scrape, and prepare surfaces for paint
  • Operate hand tools, sanding equipment, and power tools
  • Remove debris and contaminants from surfaces
  • Apply degreaser and caulking where required
  • Perform quality inspections of prep work before paint
  • Ensure remotes and accessories are properly protected
  • Maintain clean and organized drying bays and work areas
  • Assist with reassembly of components after painting
  • Follow safety and quality procedures at all times
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Manufacturing or production experience is a plus
