Common Questions

We use heavy-duty U.S. components wherever possible. That includes American steel, marine-grade wiring, and LED lights. And, we custom manufacture our own axels, because quality matters when you’re working hard and hauling heavy.

Meet the people that make your trailer. Every trailer is hand-built by skilled craftsmen at our facility in Madisonville, Texas. Many of our team members have been with us for years—some are second or third generation. It’s not mass-produced. It’s personal. That’s the Texas Pride difference.

Either. Most of our customers spec and order their trailers entirely over the phone with help from a real person who knows trailers inside and out. If you’ve got internet access and a phone, we can get you rolling—wherever you are in the U.S. Get a quote.

Every Texas Pride trailer includes the core structural features that make our trailers stand out: heavy-gauge steel, 3/16” flooring, high-grade wiring, LED lighting, and more. From there, you can add custom options like color, axles, ramps, tarp kits, winches, and more—built the way you want.

Absolutely: Get a Quote. We’ll walk through your specs and provide a clear, no-surprise quote so you know exactly what you’re getting—and what it’ll cost. No pressure. No fluff.

Yes—as long as your tow vehicle is properly equipped and rated for the trailer’s GVWR. We’ll double-check compatibility before you pick up and make sure you’re safe, legal, and confident before you hit the road.

No. We focus 100% on new, made-to-order trailers—built for your job, not someone else’s. That means no used inventory or trade-ins. What you get is brand-new, factory-fresh, and spec’d just for you.

Yes. Every trailer comes with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) and a bill of sale so you can title and register it in your state. We’ll walk you through what to expect and make sure you’ve got what you need.

We’ve got your back. Whether it’s replacement parts, service questions, or upgrade requests, our support team is just a call away. You’re working with folks who built your trailer—not some random dealer—so help is always fast, informed, and easy to get.

Yes. Most Texas Pride trailers come equipped with electric brakes, which require a 7-way plug and an in-cab brake controller to operate safely and legally. If you’re not already set up, your local truck outfitter can get you dialed in fast—and we can help you know what to ask for.

Depends on the trailer and your total weight. Most bumper pull trailers under 10K GVWR don’t require anything special. But if you’re hauling a gooseneck or pushing over 26,000 lbs combined GVWR, you might need a commercial driver’s license (CDL) depending on your state and use case. We’ll help you run the numbers so you’re good to go.

That depends on the trailer’s GVWR, hitch type, and what you’re hauling—but here’s the gist:

  • For most 7K–14K bumper pull trailers, a ½-ton or ¾-ton pickup (like an F-150 or Silverado 2500) will do the job, especially if it’s properly equipped with a tow package.
  • For heavier-duty trailers (think 20K–30K GVWR or gooseneck setups), you’ll need a ¾-ton or 1-ton truck—something like a Ram 3500, Ford F-350, or Chevy 3500HD.
  • Gooseneck trailers require a truck with a bed-mounted ball hitch (we’ll help you spec it).
  • And if you’re hauling commercially or crossing state lines, you’ll want to double-check DOT and CDL requirements based on total combined weight.

Not sure if your truck’s up to the task? No problem. Our team will walk you through the numbers—payload, tow capacity, tongue weight, axle ratings—to make sure your rig is safe, legal, and ready to roll.

You’ll still be working with the same person who helped you buy. No handoffs. No runaround. And our support team is always here if you need parts, advice, or service info down the road.

Simple. You’ll:

  1. Call or Get a Quote
  2. Talk to a Texas Pride advisor
  3. Choose your trailer and custom specs
  4. Get a build timeline and price—no surprises
  5. Approve and pay your deposit
  6. We build it. We deliver it or you pick it up. You get to work

That depends on your job, equipment, and truck. Our sales advisors will work with you one-on-one to spec the right size, axle count, GVWR, and features to make sure you’re set up right—and legal on the road.

We specialize in hard-working trailers built for heavy jobs—Dump Trailers, Flatbeds, Tilt Decks, Power Tilts, Lowboys, Car Haulers, Roll-Offs, and more. Whatever you haul, we’ve got a trailer to match.

Your advisor will help you choose the fastest, most cost-effective option based on where you are and what you’re ordering.

Absolutely. You’re welcome to pick up your trailer directly from our Madisonville, TX headquarters or from one of our nationwide distribution yards—whichever works best for you. Just let your advisor know during the order process and we’ll coordinate the details.

Right here in the USA. Our trailers are hand-built in Madisonville, Texas, with distribution yards across the country to get your trailer to you fast. We’re family-owned, Texas-grown, and proud of every weld.

Yes. We offer flexible financing options to fit your needs, whether you’re buying as a business or an individual. We can help you get pre-approved fast and keep your payments manageable.

You bet. Every Texas Pride trailer includes a robust Limited Warranty that covers the structural components and craftsmanship. You’ve got our word—and our welds—to back it up.

We don’t cut corners. Every Texas Pride trailer features heavier steel, 3/16” flooring, 12K jacks, deep-cycle marine batteries, and telescopic lift cylinders—overbuilt where it counts. It’s American-made toughness, built for real work.

Absolutely. From deck width and axle setup to side height, tongue style, color, and winch options—we’ll walk you through all the choices. Every trailer is built-to-order to match your job, your equipment, and your budget.

Most trailers are built and delivered in as little as 2-3 weeks, depending on your customizations and location. Some larger, speciality-build trailers can be ready in 4-5 weeks. We’ll give you a clear delivery window when you order—and we stick to it.

Buying factory-direct means you skip the middleman. No dealer markups, no confusing chains of communication. You work with a Texas Pride expert who helps you spec exactly what you need—then we build it and ship it straight to you. Faster. Smarter. Better built. That’s the difference.

G.V.W.R. (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) is the maximum loaded weight your trailer is rated to handle. We build trailers from 7,000 lbs up to 30,000 lbs GVWR, depending on your job. Don’t worry—our team will help you spec the right rating based on what you’re hauling, your axle count, and your truck’s towing capacity. Holler if you need help.

Bumper pull trailers attach to a standard receiver hitch at the rear of your truck—quick and convenient for lighter loads.
Gooseneck trailers connect over the rear axle in your truck bed, offering better stability, tighter turning, and higher payload capacity. If you’re hauling heavier loads or towing often, gooseneck’s the way to go.

No penalties, no problem. Synchrony lets you pay off your loan early with zero fees—so if you want to wrap it up sooner, go right ahead.

Synchrony offers a range of financing terms—usually from 12 to 84 months—depending on your credit and the amount financed. We’ll help you pick what best fits your budget.

Down payment requirements vary based on your credit and the trailer you’re financing. Some customers qualify for little to no money down, while others may need a higher percentage upfront. You’ll see your options after you apply—or give us a call to talk it through: (936) 241-4405

Yes. You can finance your trailer and the delivery together in one easy payment plan. If you’re not picking up at one of our locations, just let us know you’d like it delivered and we’ll include the delivery cost in your financing total. No extra hassle, no separate bill.

Yes—you can often finance add-ons and upgrades like tarp kits, spare tires, toolboxes, ramps, winches, or color upgrades. Let us know what you need, and we’ll roll it all into one easy payment.

Absolutely. Whether it’s a made-to-order dump, a tricked-out hauler, or a fully spec’d flatbed, custom trailers do qualify for financing. Just let your sales rep know what you’re building.

Nearly every trailer we build is eligible—including dump trailers, car haulers, flatbeds, tilts, and more. Custom builds, special sales, package deals, and clearance trailers are all eligible.

Credit requirements vary based on your application, but Synchrony offers options for a wide range of credit profiles. Starting with the soft check is the best way to see where you stand.

Most customers receive a decision within minutes of submitting their application. The process is fast, secure, and hassle-free.

Synchrony only offers personal financing, which is the best and fastest option for most customers—including small business owners. If you’re looking for business financing specifically, give us a call at (936) 241-4405. We’ve got other options, but keep in mind: most small business applications don’t get approved unless they have strong credit and time in business—so personal loans are usually the way to go.

Nope. You’re welcome to use any lender you choose, but we’ve partnered with Synchrony to make financing faster and easier for our customers—with competitive terms and a streamlined process. And if you don’t pre-qualify with Synchrony, give us a call at (936) 241-4405.

Don’t count yourself out. Synchrony offers options for a variety of credit situations. The best first step is to check eligibility with a soft credit check—it won’t impact your score, and it gives you a clearer idea of what’s possible. And if you don’t pre-qualify with Synchrony, call us—we have multiple financing partners: (936) 241-4405

Not if you use our “See if You Qualify” option—that’s a soft check. If you move forward with the full application, that will be a hard credit inquiry, which may impact your credit score slightly.

A soft credit check gives you a quick look at whether you prequalify—without impacting your credit score. A hard credit inquiry happens when you submit a full application and may affect your score. We offer both, so you can check your options before committing.
