Making an Impact: The Hobby Ranch

When Mark and LeAnn Cuatt won a Texas Pride 20K Dump Trailer, they weren’t just gaining a workhorse—they were gaining a tool to serve their land and their community.

From Military Service to Muck Duty—One Texas Family Gets a Dump Trailer Built to Haul It All

We headed out to Killeen, Texas to surprise two extraordinary folks—Mark and LeAnn Cuatt—with a brand-new 20,000 LB Dump Trailer. These two aren’t just ranchers—they’re veterans, volunteers, and downright good people who’ve dedicated their lives to service, both in uniform and out.

They met at Fort Bragg, served side by side, and built a life that now includes raising horses, clearing land, and helping fellow service members get the support they need. But on this day? It was time to return the favor.

You might recognize the trailer—we put it through hell in the Big Truck Big RV Torture Test. Now it’s headed for a new kind of test: hauling horse manure, hauling pipe, hauling sand, hauling brush—basically, hauling everything the Cuatts throw at it on their hardworking hobby ranch. And let’s just say, with two horses dropping 100 pounds of “muck” a day, this trailer’s about to earn its keep.

The surprise was real. LeAnn knew. Riley (their daughter) knew. But Mark? He didn’t have a clue. Fresh out of surgery, Mark rolled up expecting to change a flat—only to find a brand-new, overbuilt dump trailer waiting behind the gate. His reaction? Pure joy.

“Texas Pride’s reputation far exceeds the Texas borders,” Mark said, still taking it all in. “These trailers are overbuilt. I did the research. I never thought I’d actually own one.” Well Mark, now you do.

From the telescopic hoist to the solid welds he admired on YouTube, this trailer checked every box—and now it’s parked right on their property, ready to roll.

But the story doesn’t stop there. The Cuatts also volunteer with Hoofbeats for Heroes, a nonprofit that supports veterans with PTSD. With this trailer, they’re not just working their own land—they’re lending their strength to something bigger.

So here’s to Mark, LeAnn, Riley, and every ounce of pride they put into the land they work and the lives they serve. Welcome to the Texas Pride family. Let’s roll.
